A Treasury of Prayer

Precious Prayers is a popular Compendium of Catholic Prayers of 120 pages. It has been reprinted five times since the first edition in 2012. It contains essential introductory prayers and popular prayers of devotion, to suit either the newcomer or the soul already endued with a deep faith and committed prayer life. It is beautifully illustrated. Many of the prayers have a facing image to help with focus and to help one raise one's heart to God. It includes morning offering prayers, prayers of consecration to Our Lady and Our Lord, prayers to the Holy Spirit and to God the Father. Saint Bridget prayers, Precious Blood prayers and Holy Face prayers are also included. Selected litanies are featured as well. There are prayers included to the main popular saints, including Australia's first Saint, Mary MacKillop. These saints are all renowned for their powerful intercession. There are prayers to Our Lady under her popular titles such as Our Lady of Lourdes, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Also included are the main Divine Mercy prayers and prayers to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. There is a small section on the Holy Mass and Confession. There are prayers for the dying as well. Naturally the Holy Rosary is featured with brief meditations and pictures. The very powerful Our Lady of Sorrows Rosary is also featured. When applicable, promises pertaining to particular prayers are also included as an encouragement.
